Columbus's Three Ships
NIÑA
(unkown, THE NIÑA )
There were three ships that were very important in Christopher Columbus’s voyage. “Santa Marìa, as the ship was called, is the most famous of Columbus’s ships” (Morison, 1955, p.23). The second ship is called the Nina. “Nina was Columbus’s favorite. She carried him home form his First Voyage, took him to western Cuba and back to Spain on the second, and made another voyage to Hispaniola” (Morison, 1955, p.24). The last ship is called the Pinta where Columbus sighted the New World. These three ships helped Christopher Columbus travel the world and to explore.
